    WHO?

Rooted in tradition but with an eye towards contemporary exploration, Benshi's music reflects his upbringing in the vibrant landscapes of South America and his immersion in the cultural tapestry of the Middle East. Through his artistry, he shares a humble journey of exploring humanity's cultural diversity as well as his own.

This artist embraces a variety of musical inspirations, drawing from the rhythmic beats of Kendrick and J. Cole, the soulful melodies of Spanish singers like Buika and Diego el Cigala, and the intricate notes of jazz saxophonists Kenny Garrett and Miguel Zenon.

IT'S ALL ABOUT THE small WINS

After a seven-year break following his bachelor's degree in Jazz from The Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, Benshi is now pursuing a master's degree at Berklee Valencia in contemporary performance and music production. His current project, "Benshi y las Mamiz", blends Medieval Spanish-Jewish folkloric music from his grandmother with contemporary sounds, reflecting his dedication to preserving ancient traditions in today's dynamic context.

        WHAT'S NEXT

Benshi has been working on his debut album for the past couple of

and he's looking forward to sharing it with everyone soon.
